This document describes the methods of processing the personal data of users who consult the websites of Italchimica S.r.l., or the methods of collection, storage, use and deletion of “any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person” (as defined by Article 4 of European Regulation 679/2016).

Collection of personal data and their use

In compliance with the obligations arising from national legislation (Legislative Decree 30 June 2003 n. 196, Code regarding the protection of personal data) and community legislation (European Regulation for the protection of personal data n. 679/2016, GDPR) and subsequent amendments, the ITALCHIMICA websites respect and protect the privacy of visitors.

Please be advised that during the use of the company websites ITALCHIMICA may collect and process personal data of visitors. The ITALCHIMICA websites use log files in which information collected automatically during user visits is stored. The information collected may be the following:

– Internet Protocol (IP) address;
– type of browser and parameters of the device used to connect to the site;
– name of the Internet service provider (ISP);
– date and time of visit;
– web page of origin of the visitor and exit;
– possibly the number of clicks.

The above information is processed in an automated form and collected in an exclusively aggregated form in order to verify the correct functioning of the site and for security reasons. ITALCHIMICA will use personal data exclusively in ways compatible with the purposes for which they were acquired or subsequently authorised by the interested party.

“Cookies” – Information automatically saved on your computer

Cookies are information stored automatically on a website displayed on a user’s computer. When a user visits a ITALCHIMICA website, some data may be stored on the user’s computer in the form of “cookies” to automatically recognize the user on subsequent visits. ITALCHIMICA makes all reasonable efforts to ensure compliance with relevant jurisdictions’ laws and regulations regarding cookies and requires users’ express consent for the use of cookies within its sites.

Requests for information and sending of CVs

In order to guarantee correct processing of personal data, it is requested that any requests for information be conveyed through the dedicated web page and that CVs be sent exclusively via email to the address curriculum@italchimica.it

CVs received in other forms or through other means will not be taken into consideration and will be immediately deleted.

Data retention

ITALCHIMICA stores and processes personal data exclusively for the time necessary for the specific purpose declared or for the duration established by laws or regulations.

At the end of the retention period, the personal data collected will be deleted.

Rights

We inform users that the GDPR provides the possibility for the interested party to ask the data controller for access to personal data, rectification, portability or deletion of the same and the limitation of their processing; the interested party may also have the possibility to oppose the processing of data and to exercise the other rights contained in chapter 3 section 1 of the GDPR, including that of revoking consent, where applicable. The revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the revocation.

Access to and correction of data

Data Security and Integrity

ITALCHIMICA takes all reasonable precautions to preserve the security of the personal data in its possession against loss, abuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction of the same and periodically reviews its security policies in the context of guaranteeing the privacy of personal data.

Changes to this Policy

ITALCHIMICA reserves the right to modify and update this policy. Whenever material changes are made to this policy, ITALCHIMICA will publish the revised text on its websites.
